This is an explanation thread about Pineclan and their ways.
Pineclan's Spiritual Belief: like most of the four clans Pineclan believes that when a cat dies they go join the Silverpelt in the sky with their ancestors after death where they take on the form of what they would have been if they had not died. When Pineclan med cats go to Moonstone they speak with their ancestors long before them. They believe in the omens of their ancestors like any other cat who believe in Starclan and seek guidance from them when needed.
Leader's Nine Lives: When a new leader is made they go to the Moonstone where they are met by the ancestors of past who grant them 8 extra lives to lead their chosen clan with gifts of a trait they themselves (the ancestors) had been known for. Granting the leader 9 lives in total.
Ceremonies: The leader does the ceremonies in the traditional way. the deputies do as well if their leader is unable to do so. The med cat ceremony is a bit special in Pineclan. When the lead med cat sees his or her apprentice ready to get their full name or title as a full med cat they go to the Moonstone to see their ancestors. Their they receive their med cat official name by the ancestors who used to be med cats as well. From there they return to camp where the leader announces their new title.
Pineclan's description: Pineclan is located in the thick forests of pine and other trees. Living in the forests and mountain like rocky areas that shelter them from wind and keeps them safe and well hidden. Their pelt colors range from black to brown and other earthy colors. Some even rare enough to be a pure white or light color. Pineclan is known for their great climbing skills and are good at camouflage and have sharp eyesight. Their main source of prey consists of birds and small mammals like mice and squirrels. And are known for being one of the moral and loyal to the warrior code type of clan.
Outsiders: Pineclan is known for being a friendly clan but they are wary of some strangers. Mostly cautious but being good judges make them open minded in taking in strays. Deformed or handicapped Pineclan will do their best to help then.
