The large tom peeked his head out of his den to look up at the alighting sky. Some stars still twinkling in the sky as the sun gradually chased them away. He smiled slightly and made his way out of his den out into the cold Leaf bare clearing.
His amber eyes scanned the area of the clearing to make sure all was well as he settling beneath the Big rock. Seeing as his clan was small there wasnt much to do. But it was still pretty early so he didn't expect any clanmates out or about.
He yawned and closed his eyes with a sigh. It was peaceful even in the leaf bare. His amber eyes flaged opened when he heard movement in the warriors den across the clearing. Blazingblue must be awake. He thought in confusion.it was still pretty early. He didn't expect anyone up for another few hours.

What was Badgerstar thinking? The brown tabby had gotten herself used to waking up around that time. Blazingblue liked to wake up early and get a head start on the day. Her blue eyes glowed in the shadows of the warriors den. Maybe that's why she was named Blazingblue. Her eyes were blue, and they always seemed to be glowing with a burning passion for her clan. She was dedicated to her work as a warrior, which was a shame because she could've been deputy. Blazingblue still felt like she needed to prove herself some more to her leader before she could take on such a position. The tabby she-cat trotted out of the den on her white paws, coming to a halt and looking around the camp.
Her muscles relaxed as the morning was going smoothly. It was kind of funny. The loyal warrior seemed to worry more about the clan than the leader. But, Blazingblue had always been that way. Her legs stretched out, and she took long, graceful strides to the clearing of the camp. Her fluffy tail flicked in a sassy way, and her ears perked up in the direction where the leader was resting beneath the Big Rock. Blazingblue grew curious and made a turn, walking over to her leader. "Greetings, Badgerstar." she said with a bow of her head. "The sky looks different today, doesn't it? I wonder what it could be.."
(Hey, give me some credit xD I haven't RPed a cat in like forever.)

He looked over at Blazingblue and gave her a small smile and nodded a greeting in return. "Indeed it does." He commented returning his gaze to the sky with a thoughtful frown. "Perhaps it's the changing of seasons." He suggested before returning his gaze to the shecat.
"And what are you doing up so early anyways?" He asked curiously. He's expect her to still be asleep.

It wasn't a bad thing about the sky. It actually looked pretty. The she-cat walked around and took a seat next to Badgerstar so they could look at it together. It sounded romantic but ew! No, no, no. Blazingblue followed the leader's amber gaze to the changing sky. Badgerstar gave her a good reason for the changing of the sky. Yes, it must have been the changing of seasons. It was quite fascinating how that worked. "You may be right, although, Leafbare is still carrying on for a little bit longer."
Hopefully, it wouldn't snow. Blazingblue liked to play in the snow only once and that was enough for her. It could melt the rest of the day for all she cared. It was a one time kind of thing whenever Leafbare came around the corner. It wasn't that bad for her, though. She had long fur so the cold didn't really bother her that much. It was still cold! "Oh, I was just getting a head start on the day. I don't like to sleep in late. The earlier you wake up, the more stuff you can get done."

The leader had made an excellent point as always. Blazingblue was planning to go on a patrol and check out the borders. They could hunt while they are at it. "I was going to check on the borders, but I don't see the harm in going for a little hunt while we're at it." She rose up to her white paws and padded out in front of her leader. She looked back at him and flicked her tail, gesturing for him to follow. Eh!? Why did I do that? Badgerstar should always be ahead of me. Her tail drooped slightly and she stepped to the side, offering for her leader to go first. "I'm sorry, Badgerstar. You should take the lead." It was his clan. It was his territory. Surely, he knew it better than some warrior that served the leader as if she was his second hand deputy.

He rose to his paws and idol lower along towards the exit of camp. Pausing when the warrior apologized for taking the lead. He merely nodded his head and slipped in front of her without argue.
Blazingblue seemed to have a natural sense of leadership that made him impressed and he was glad to have a warrior like her amongst his clan. Maybe even deputy material.
Shrugging the thought to the back of his mind he continued leading towards the borders. No one had any qualms with the clans as of yet so he didn't expect much. But it didn't mean there weren't rogues or loners or even threats that could arise.

The female warrior laughed nervously to herself and followed behind her leader a little close but not too close. Everyone needed their personal space. Blazingblue picked up her pace and started to walk up to her leader's side. Her tail flicked back and forth excited for adventure and yet she tried to keep a distance from her leader. Eventually, her tail flicking needed to stop and her weight on her paws had to become lighter. It was just in case any good prey was nearby. She reminded herself to be aware of her surroundings. The clans didn't seem to have anything to quarrel about... yet. "The borders should be fine and secure." she mewed softly.
But, it's better to be safe than sorry... A low growl started to rumble in her throat at the thought of other cats invading their home. Blazingblue was going to try her best to not let that happen. The clan was all she had. It was the only thing all of the clan members had, but they were really like her family. She would be nothing without them. The kind clan members and some of the annoying clan members... They meant everything to her. It was a common thing for a clan cat to feel.

He glanced over beside him at the smaller cat and flicked her side in reassurance. "Our clans have been peaceful we shouldnt have trouble." He meowed before returning his gaze forward. His amber gaze looking for any subtle movements or sensing any other signs of intrusion.

Yes, Badgerstar was yet again right. Blazingblue was aware that the four clans had been good. Who knew if that was a good thing or bad thing. Maybe the clans were being so quiet because they were plotting something against each other. That's what didn't make sense to Blazingblue. If they really cared about their clan, why would they make a mistake and mess with another clan? They are practically saying come attack our family. Surely, Pineclan had enough sense to avoid doing something like that. "It looks clear so far..." she meowed back and let out a sigh underneath her breath. Blazingblue calmed herself down and that kind of scared her. They attack you when your guard is down. "Badgerstar, how have you been?" she asked, trying to get other things off her mind.

The young leader glanced over thoughtfully. "Fine I guess. Just trying to keep things in order as leader. What about you?" He questioned pausing to scent the air a moment before remarking the border line.

It was true. Badgerstar had to make sure everyone was acting right and doing well. That must have been quite the job especially with Blazingblue around. Some of the clan members dared to argue back to her and then they would get into a scuffle about it. Blazingblue was stubborn, headstrong, and reckless at times. She felt like a disappointment to Badgerstar for causing so much trouble. No wonder he had to work so hard. He had no time to babysit her. It was ridiculous. Of course, that's what happens when you have a fiery passion like Blazingblue. She wasn't going to put up with anyone's fox-dung. She was going to lay down the rules and fight for those rules to be acknowledged by the underlings. "I'm... okay." Even though she was a good warrior, she had quite the temper, which was mostly the problem. "Leafbare has driven away all of the birds. This really bites."

He gave a soft laugh and nodded. "I guess it has. But we are survived worst then a bad leaf bare." He replied encouragingly. "So tell me what have you been up to as of late?" He questioned further.
Being a leader he neede to check up on his clanmembers and make sure everything was alright. One thing he hated was the thought of a leader who didn't care enough to connect with his clan.

Blazingblue nodded her head in agreement. Pineclan was strong, and they would not show their weaknesses to the foul enemies surrounding them. The birds were Blazingblue's favorite to catch. Birds were beautiful but delicious. They would put up a fight, which Blazingblue loved to play with her prey before finishing it off. It wouldn't be any fun if the prey just gave in. "Me? Nothing really. Just trying to keep sane in my own clan." she said with a chuckle. "There isn't much to tell, really." Blazingblue was practically the leader if Badgerstar was sick, sleeping, or out doing something. She would keep a close eye on everyone and make sure they were all doing what they were supposed to be doing. If anyone decided to get a smart mouth, Blazingblue would set them straight. Of course, she had no right to do that. She wasn't the deputy or anything like that so if it came to an argument with a warrior... It would be handled differently. She let out a sigh and said, "I know that I can be stubborn and have a short temper... I'm working on that."

He nodded listening before he paused and turned to look at the shecat with soft understanding eyes. "We all have our characteristic traits that we don't like about ourselves. But you've done well among the clan so don't sweat it alright?" He replied before moving on.
A few moments of silence brought the putter of small feet nearby making the tom instantly alert and ready. He opened his jaws an scented a chipmunk. Well that was small but it was better then nothing at all.
Without waiting for Blazingblue to figure it out the tom was already slinking through the trees and bushes towards the sound. The little rodent was pawing at some powdery snow and ice that was by a tree looking for food for leafbare. Badgerstar sighed silently as he watched.
Circle of life he supposed. Stalking closer the large tom launched himself in the air an pounced on the little creature that let out a surprise chatter before falling silent by a swift death. Shaking himself the leader rose from his landing and picked up the chipmunk contently an thanks Starclan for its life before making his way back to Blazingblue.
